DRNBC Conference

Looking forward to seeing you in 2020!

The DRNBC has some exciting news!  This year the 2020 Festival of Learning program committee is pleased to partner with the Disability Resource Network of BC for Post-Secondary Education to provide a safe and compassionate space that is universally accessible.  We welcome presenters and participants of all backgrounds, races, abilities, cultures, sexual orientations, genders, languages, ages, and religions, as well as those identifying as neurodivergent.

The Festival of Learning is B.C.’s largest celebration of teaching and learning in higher education.  Held every two years and welcoming about 500 attendees from all over B.C. and beyond, the Festival is a great opportunity for faculty, students, leaders, librarians, learning designers, educational technologists and accessibility/disability educators and professionals to network and learn together.

We hope to see you at the conference in May!  For more information, please check out the Festival of Learning 2020 website and share with your colleagues and fiends.

ARTICULATION https://drnbc.org/articulation/ https://drnbc.org/articulation/#respond Tue, 17 Jan 2017 23:35:32 +0000 http://drnbc.org/?p=306 Articulation committees normally meet once a year to share information and engage in discussions related to curricular matters, particularly those affecting student mobility. Articulation committee meetings foster collaborative and collegial relationships among disciplinary colleagues throughout the system. Inter-institutional credit transfer is a key aspect of the BC post-secondary system, providing mobility and efficient credential completion mechanisms for all students. Articulation committees provide an essential link between autonomous institutions offering related programs, and as such are a critical factor in the smooth functioning and success of the BC Transfer System.
