8:30 to 8:45: Elder John and Welcome

8:45 to 10:15: Al: How it impacts and supports Programs and Services

Presenters: Lucas Wright, UBC: Senior Educational Consultant, Fizza Haider, UFV: Learning Designer, Gwen Nguyen, BCcampus: Advisor Learning and Teaching. Learn from local BC panel about how AI is being used by educators and students, including UDL and Accessibility Considerations

10:15 to 10:30: BREAK

10:30 to 11:45: Accessible BC: B.C.’s Accessibility Plan

Presenters: A representative from the Accessibility Directorate along with Accessibility Specialists Nicole Gareau-Wilson from UBC, Sue Sterling-Bur from NVIT and Fiona Whittington-Walsh and Seanna Takacs from KPU will discuss the new Accessible British Columbia Act and its implications for Post-Secondary Institutions and education

11:45 to 12:00: BREAK

12:00 to 1:30: AGM with Box Lunch from Tacofino

1:30-3:00: World Café

Facilitators: Diane Van der Gucht, and Kari MacDougall from Kwantlen Polytechnic University A chance to connect with people from around the province to discuss, learn and reflect on a variety of areas impacting post-secondary.

Awards presented: 1) Celebrating Excellence in Program Development Programs, 2) Honoring Exceptional Service Delivery and 3) Championing Inclusive Employment Practices Recognition of Retirees for DRNBC Wall of Fame

3:45 to 4:00: Closing Remarks
